Christian Music Night Comes To Festival Friday


The Graham Johnson Cultural Arts Endowment is producing a series of concerts this summer in downtown Wake Forest at Festival Park.

On Friday June 26th the theme for the evening is Christian Music and performers include local band “Soul Purpose” and headliner “Locusts –n-Honey”. Locusts-n-Honey blends Southern Rock and blues with today’s Christian music, resulting in a unique sound that will be enjoyed by those who would not normally listen to Christian music or that want to hear Christian music with an edge.

The concert is from 6 – 9 pm and attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket or folding chair and outside food and drink will be allowed. Admission is $3.00 per person or $10.00 per family.

Additional concerts will take place on the 4th Friday of the month through September. For updates on who is scheduled to perform information will be posted on www.festivalpark.org  This summer’s series is sponsored by the GJCAE and Heritage Wake Forest.
